Bylaws

Bylaws

The following bylaws apply to the Queensland Paramedic Council, as agreed by the management committee. These do not for, part of the rules, but are considered to be additional conditions the QPC will follow.

Prohibited Matters

Certain matters are prohibited.  Unless in a ballot where a vote in favour is passed by 50% plus one of all the current financial members at the time of the ballot to over turn one or more of these provisions, these following prohibitions apply:

  1. No member of the elected executive may receive a salary or wages style payment either directly or indirectly from the Association for work or services performed for the Association.  This provision does not limit the payment of reasonable meeting fees, incidental expenses such as travel and accommodation plus out of pocket expenses to the elected executive in the performance of their duties for the Association.

  1. No political party donations.  This provision does not however limit the management committee without giving away money, from applying it’s efforts and resources to influence political processes for the direct benefit of the members.

  1. No loans to other like organisations or new branches of the Association.
