Welcome to the Queensland Paramedic Council and Association of Employees Inc. (QPC).

The Queensland Paramedic Council was formed so all members of the Queensland ambulance service could have a body that would independently represent only Queensland Ambulance staff and not diluted by other sectors.

The first thing we intend to fight for is the removal of the “conveniently belong rule” which stipulates that we must have permission from the body that represents staff to start an organisation which intends to do the same, we believe this is wrong and will lobby the Government to have it removed.

Once we have succeeded in removing this rule we will apply to become industrially registered in order to improve pay and conditions for all staff within the QAS.
